… was at the heart of the restoration and renovation of our guest accommodation at the house. To give our guests that perfect Italian holiday experience, we were busy cleaning beams and oiling doors, restoring old walls in the bedrooms and coming up with lots of ideas of how to use the beautiful old and durable materials such as the terracotta roof and floor tiles to retain the charm of a typical Marchesian farmhouse.
There are three spacious and airy twin/double rooms, with beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. Two of the rooms have direct acces to the wrap-around terrace. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a romantic country-retreat style with some original art works.
“Lavanda”, our self-contained suite has it’s own bathroom and additional kitchen and sitting area and can be pre-booked on request. It is ideally suited for couples or painting guests traveling with a non-painting partner and anyone wishing to extend their stay after the course. The outside terrace offers a sheltered al fresco dining area with sun loungers and a BBQ area. On the terrace, you will be able to relax, draw and paint and enjoy delicious meals sheltered from the hot summer sun. Laundry facilities, coffee and tea making facilities, fridges, etc are available for your use.
