Getting to The Retreat
Flying By Car
The Retreat is conveniently located 1.5 hours distance from both Ancona and Pescara airport. Ryanair offers low-cost flights to both locations from Stansted aiport. Hire cars are available at both airports. We can also arrange for airport pick-ups and drop-offs on request at an extra cost.
Rome is 3.5 hours away and a cheap and frequent coach service makes a trip to Rome from here worth a visit.

By Rail , Coach or Ferry
A good train network connects Northern Europe to Le Marche.Train services in Italy are cheap and reliable. Tickets can be booked on-line with many interesting European towns worth visiting en route. Trains run as close to The
Retreat as Ascoli Piceno, where we can pick you up at the staion. You can also take a train across from Assisi or Perugia if you want to spend a few days there before or after your stay.
From Rome you can take a 3 hour coach ride along the old Roman route of the Via Salaria connecting Rome with the Adriatic Sea.
