The Studio
The Studio has undergone a transformation into a beautiful large open plan artists’ work space. There are free standing easels, tables and a sofa. The studio has a wrap-around terrace with a magnificent view over hilltop towns. There are many places where to sit comfortably,
draw and paint.
Tea, coffee and a variety of cold drinks will be available all day at no extra cost. We have a comfortable lounge with a sofa and armchairs with an art book library for reference. There, you can sit and read, or
talk to others while enjoying a well deserved break.
A relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes The Retreat an ideal
place to indulge in creative activity and develop your skills further
during your stay. Whether advanced or beginner, I will provide
you with the guidance and advice to suit your level of ability to
help you make the most of your stay.
We will sometimes have our lunch and dinner at The Retreat but mostly serve your meals al fresco on the terrace during the summer. During meal times you have the opportunity to find
out more about the area and converse with each other. We have good advice on hand on where to spend your free time or what's important to know when house hunting in the area. Our amazing views have tempted many visitors into buying their own place in Le Marche...

The Open Studio....
Our Studio facilities are open to experienced visiting artists. Please contact us for rates and details should you wish to spend a painting holiday here using only the studio facilities without course partcicipation. The studio is open all year round. Contact us stating your requirements. We can put together a "artist in residence" package.
